Andi Handke
Andi Handke recently celebrated his 25th anniversary as a chef and currently runs the Crêperie Babette in Wiedikon, Switzerland since 2018. Handke places great value on social and ecological responsibility, which is showcased in his crêperie, and they always offer fresh market products at ethical prices.
The Babette is a neighborhood restaurant in Wiedikon with a Francophile twist. We're in vogue and very local. In addition to galettes and crepes, we serve innovative, seasonal dishes straight from local farms and suppliers. We know the manufacturers of our food personally and maintain a partnership. What comes to us comes on our plate - we want to waste as little as possible and feel obliged to the environment and future generations. We operate sustainably and not at the expense of others.
Here, everyone is welcome. With us, tables shouldn't have borders and guests shouldn't be strangers. We want to promote the exchange beyond the edge of the table and encourage our guests to think about the origin and preparation of food and drinks.
