  • "F1 in Schools is an international STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) competition where students teams of 3-6 between the ages of 11-19, design, build, and race miniature Formula 1 cars. It’s a hands-on challenge that combines engineering, creativity, and teamwork, while teaching valuable skills like project management and marketing and more. Each team needs to create a brand, market themselves, design a car, engineer a car, overcome problems and more. Each team needs to participate in nationals, which, if they win, will allow them to represent their country in the World Finals

Through a simulated debate with two main speakers, the audience will witness opposing arguments on a relevant topic, such as "This House Believes social media platforms should be held responsible for the spread of misinformation." Each speaker will present two 5-minute arguments, followed by audience feedback via a form assessing opinion changes. After the debate, a discussion will analyze persuasive techniques, argument development, and how these skills can address global issues in an ever-evolving world. Success will be determined by the audience’s shifting perspectives, as measured through the form responses.
