Sara Liz Marty

Sara Liz Marty is a designer, artist, and sustainability specialist working within the textile industry. She holds a BA in Textile Design for Fashion and Interiors at Bath Spa University, England, and an MA with distinction in Fashion Futures from the University of the Arts London. In 2023, Marty was awarded an artist grant by the Canton of Zug. Together with Nadja Zürcher, she has been nominated for a 2025 Swiss Design Award for their collaborative project Common Goods. In autumn 2025, she undertook a four-month residency in New York, awarded by the Canton of Zug.

She is also Corporate Responsibility Manager at the Swiss outdoor brand Mammut. She has been with the iconic brand since March 2022 and overseas projects pushing for greater transparency and towards circularity. With the aim to create the highest performing mountain apparel and equipment as responsibly as possible, Sara and the team around her are implementing and accelerating Mammut’s ambitious decarbonisation strategy.
