Donald H.

Donald is a student at Yew Chung International School in Hong Kong, who is driven by the belief that collective effort and continuous improvement are fundamental to a person’s growth. He is the Head Prefect of the whole school, the founder of three clubs that train students to compete at an international level, and the school’s top IGCSE performer. Beyond academics, Donald is a global servant leader. He oversees and manages a department of an NGO in Hong Kong and is also one of the leaders, alongside other international students, of a nationwide charity teaching program in partnership with Peking University Alumni.


As a member of the MIT Youth Council, Donald is committed to promoting compassionate systems in education and sharing his experiences with educators around the world. He has contributed to international school panel discussions and spoken on the TEDx stage. As a student advocate, he strives to bring local issues to global attention.
