Julio Puente

Aside from being a psychology teacher, Julio Puente is a running, and skateboarding competitor and track and field/ tennis coach. Competing in the state circuit of Rio Grande do Sul’s skateboarding competition, Julio placed 4th in a 55 athlete field. He currently also is part of the Swiss open skate cup and has competed in Zurich, and St. Gallen. In 2025, he participated in the ZKB lauf Cup in Canton Zurich and placed 11th out of 155 people in his division. Beyond the competition, Julio has also served as coach in Costa Rica to cross country, track and field and tennis athletes, competing at national and international events. With a strong focus on mental health, grit and positive psychology, he approaches both his own drive for competition as well as his coaching style.
